Sismo is a B2B analytics service that measures the performance of TikTok creator programs for the client brands that engage it. This policy describes what Sismo collects and how it is handled.

Data collected from TikTok

When a TikTok creator authorizes access on TikTok's OAuth consent screen, Sismo collects, through the official TikTok Display API:

• their basic profile: display name, avatar and open_id;
• the list of their public videos (link, description, posting date) and the public counters of those videos: views, likes, comments and shares.

Nothing is collected beyond the scopes the creator explicitly grants, and no TikTok data is collected about creators who have not authorized access.

Why it is collected

One purpose: measuring the performance of the creator program of the client brand that engages the creator. Sismo relates the creator's public video statistics to the client's App Store results.

Data collected from App Store Connect and RevenueCat

The client brand connects its own App Store Connect API key and, if it chooses, its own RevenueCat API key. Through them, Sismo collects aggregated install and revenue reports for the client's app. These reports are aggregates: they contain no personal data about the app's end users.

Data provided by the client

The client brand also provides roster information about the creators it engages: their TikTok handle and the terms of their engagement. Sismo processes it for the same single purpose.

Legal basis and revocation

A creator's TikTok data is collected on the basis of their consent, given on TikTok's OAuth screen. A creator can revoke this access at any time in their TikTok settings; upon revocation, Sismo stops collecting their data.

Retention and deletion

TikTok data is retained for the duration of the client's contract and deleted when that contract ends. A creator or a client can also request deletion of TikTok data at any time by writing to contact@sismohq.com.

Sharing and hosting

Sismo does not sell data and does not share it with third parties, except for hosting on Hetzner servers in Germany (EU) and backups stored on Cloudflare R2 (EU), encrypted at rest.
